Kai Havertz initiates scoring in Arsenal's title pursuit

Kai Havertz sets Arsenal on the path to Premier League triumph with a goal: The German football ace puts the chasing pack in front early on in the new campaign, sealing a triumphant start. English tactician Fabian Hürzeler rejoices in his inaugural success.

Havertz provided Arsenal with a perfect beginning in their 2-0 victory over Wolves. He netted the opening goal (25') thanks to a well-placed header from a Saka cross, but almost handed his opponents an equalizer soon after. Jörgen Strand Larsen had a golden opportunity, but David Raya (36') came to Arsenal's rescue.

Saka eventually gave Arsenal a comfortable lead in the second half, converting a pass from Havertz into a clever finish in the box. Last season, Arsenal led the Premier League for most of the campaign, but Manchester City pipped them to the post in a thrilling climax. This year, Arsenal aim to go one better.

Hürzeler celebrates first win

Fabian Hürzeler, the new manager at Brighton & Hove Albion, enjoyed a resounding start to his English adventure. He clinched a convincing 3-0 victory over Everton in his debut Premier League outing.

Despite being just 31 years old, the youngest manager in the English top flight, Hürzeler moved from FC St. Pauli to Brighton after guiding them to Bundesliga promotion last season.

Mitoma (25'), Welbeck (56'), and Adingra (86') contributed to Hürzeler's maiden triumph, with Everton's Ashley Young receiving his marching orders for a last-man foul. Brighton's latest attacking star, Gruda, who joined from Mainz for over €30 million, was absente from the squad.

After the successful debut, Huërzeler expressed his uncertainty about their future performances, saying, "I'm not sure if we can maintain this form throughout the season." During the post-match interview, when asked about the absence of Gruda, Huërzeler explained, "I'm not sure if his arrival will significantly impact our game in the short term, but I'm confident in the team's abilities."
