"Angry Birds": The Furious Aviators Continue Their Adventures - The third installment of "Angry Birds" chick flick has begun production, as revealed by Rovio Entertainment, Sega, and Prime Focus Studios in a shared statement on June 6th. DNEG Animation, a British animation studio, is collaborating on this project. Keep your eyes peeled for familiar flaming avian friends.

Red and Chuck Are Back

According to Rovio, Jason Sudeikis (48), an American actor and comedian, and his acting pal Josh Gad (43) will reprise their roles as Red and Chuck from the previous "Angry Birds" films.

John Rice takes over as director. He previously served as co-director on the second "Angry Birds" movie and also worked on the "Simpsons" film. This time around, Thurop van Orman (48), the director of the second "Angry Birds" film, will pen the script. No details about the content of the third "Angry Birds" movie have been divulged by Rovio yet.

Billion Dollar Bird Bonanza

The film will pick up where the first two "Angry Birds" movies left off, grossing over $500 million at the box office combined. Shuji Utsumi (63), the President and COO of the Sega Group, asserts that the third "Angry Birds" movie will provide "a fantastic opportunity to bring the captivating essence of the Angry Birds brand closer to global fans."
