In the short clip where he's seen on the castle with his musicians, Matthias Reim continued: "It can't be true. We're sitting here now on top of the castle in Esslingen and can't believe it's been cancelled." He added about the responsible parties: "They probably have a reason, they said it's still dangerous. It doesn't look good on the radar. They have to make sure nothing happens to you and I have to say: It's the right thing."

The 66-year-old went on: "But it tears my heart apart." He had started off so beautifully, as Matthias Reim mentioned about the first minutes of his planned show, "I could have just told you how much I was looking forward to you and how much this band was looking forward to you". At the end of the emotional video, the singer said: "Today is one of the saddest days of my life. I miss you."
