Real Madrid player - Internet user condemned for racist insults against Antonio Rudiger

A person who racially insulted and insulted Real Madrid football professionals Antonio Rüdiger and Vinícius Junior on an internet forum, has been sentenced to eight months in prison on probation. According to Real Madrid, the Court of Instruction No. 5 of Parla handed down a corresponding guilty verdict against the defendant.

Said person directed "serious racist attacks and insults" against our players Vinícius Junior and Antonio Rüdiger in the digital edition of the newspaper "Marca", as Real stated in a club statement. The defendant is now banned from participating in the forum for 20 months.

The defendant was found guilty of two offenses against moral integrity. In the case of the German national player Rüdiger, the offense was reportedly committed "with disregard for his religion".

The suspended prison sentence is contingent upon the defendant participating in a program for equal treatment and the combating of discrimination. "Marca" published an apology letter from the convicted person, who assured that they "regret" their actions and are "ashamed" of them.

The individual who was convicted for racially insulting Real Madrid footballer Antonio Rüdiger and Vinícius Junior will need to complete a program for equal treatment and combating discrimination as part of their probation. Despite being a defender for German national team and Chelsea FC, commonly known as DFB, Rüdiger was targeted with offensive comments that disregarded his religion.
