- Initial meet-up following the summer break
Prince Will (42) is gearing up to get back to business soon. As per the Royal Family's schedule, the future king will drop by the Saatchi Gallery in London on September 5. The special exhibition, titled "Homelessness: Rethought," falls under the Homewards initiative, focusing on homelessness in the UK and narrating the experiences of those affected through their personal artworks.
Homewards is reportedly a five-year venture backed by Prince Will's charity, The Royal Foundation, devoted to helping those struggling with homelessness. The exhibition's goal is to spread uplifting tales, "enhance the country's comprehension of homelessness, and spark hope that it can be eradicated," as per the Homewards website.
Artworks by homeless individuals, children, and celebrated artists
During his visit, Prince Will will interact with homeless artists and individuals whose lived experiences have influenced some of the artworks. He will also chat with children and youngsters who have demonstrated creativity through a workshop centered around the theme. The exhibition will also display artworks by distinguished artists like Marc Quinn (60), Philip Colbert, and Rankin (58), famously known as Heidi Klum's (51) photographer from "Germany's Next Topmodel." The exhibition continues until September 20.
This event marks the first public appearance for Prince Will since attending the UEFA match featuring England and Spain in Berlin on July 14, which he attended with his son Prince George (11). At present, he's enjoying some downtime at Balmoral Castle in Scotland with Princess Kate (42) and their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte (9), and Prince Louis (6).
After his brief break at Balmoral Castle, Prince Will returns to public engagements, visiting the Saatchi Gallery on September 5 for the "Homelessness: Rethought" exhibition. This vacation, he notes, serves as a refreshing period before diving back into his work related to the Homewards initiative, focusing on eradicating homelessness in the UK.
