Samuel Koch (36 years old) no longer yearns for his "Wetten, dass..?" mishap in 2010, which left him paralyzed from the neck down. In a chat with "Express.de" about his latest children's book, he shared, "Typically, I'm still a fit walker in my dreams. But lately, my wheelchair has found its way into my dreams too. At that point, I can do handstand acrobatics on the armrests of my chair, just as before." He finds such dreams "extremely beautiful."
When asked if he thinks there'll ever come a time in his life devoid of a wheelchair, he responded in the interview, "Yeah, exactly like the characters in our kids' book do: We truly believe that everything, even miracles, can happen." The book, titled "The Teddy Bear Command - I sleep best with you," debuted in May.
Apart from being a writer, Koch is practicing his craft as an actor. "Express.de" let it known that he's presently filming for the Christmas movie 'Sachertorte', starring in a brand new film '15 Years' - an extraordinary film, gearing up for a fall release, there are on-screen appearances in two new series: one has him as an IT specialist in the Federal Police, while the other is yet another series. This all goes to indicate that he's gaining momentum in the realm of acting. Not only that, but he's also immersed in theater performances in Berlin and Munich.
Koch commenced his studies at the acting academy in 2010. He's had roles in TV shows like "Storm of Love" in 2014 and in the movie "Honey in the Head" in 2013. He has also contributed to "Großstadtrevier" and the movie "Outside in My Head". His wife Sarah (38 years old) is an actress too. The couple connected on the set of "Storm of Love" and exchanged vows in 2016.
