Sarah Ferguson - In Cannes she lays on a Wow-Performance

Sarah Ferguson (64) radiates charm for all. At the "Knights of Charity Gala" in Cannes on the French Riviera, the Duchess of York showcased her elegance and presented herself in a stylish, black-and-white cape dress with a light train from the house of Safiyaa.

She opts for especially elegant accessories

For the figure-hugging evening gown, a clutch bag, pumps, and long black gloves came into play. For a touch of glamour, hanging silver pearl earrings were added. Fergie styled her red hair into elegant waves at the side.

For her makeup, the 64-year-old opted for a full-coverage foundation and black eyeliner to highlight her eyes. Her lips received a soft rosy tint for the gala dinner, which took place at Château de la Croix des Gardes, also known as Villa Perrier.

Besides Sarah Ferguson, numerous celebrities attended the charitable event, including actress Sharon Stone (66), who walked on the red carpet in a strapless corsage dress in white and with blue 3D flowers over it.

Fergie admires Kate for handling her cancer diagnoses

Fergie has put her health concerns aside following her two cancer diagnoses. Last summer, she underwent a breast cancer surgery. Only a few months later, she received a diagnosis of skin cancer. Since this is said to be particularly aggressive, Fergie spent the beginning of this year in an Austrian high-tech clinic. She is "doing well," according to insiders.

In March, Fergie, who openly discusses her illness, also spoke about the cancer diagnoses of King Charles III (75) and Princess Kate (42). She particularly admires Kate "for the way she has spoken publicly about her diagnosis," she shared on Instagram.

At the gala dinner in Cannes, notable figures such as Duchess Catherine were also in attendance, adding a touch of royal elegance to the event. Fergie, reflecting on her own health journey, was inspired by Duchess Catherine's courage in discussing her cancer diagnosis publicly. During the evening, Sarah Ferguson, once again gracing the French Riviera, turned heads in her black-and-white cape dress, her style reminiscent of the Riviera's glamorous nights at places like the Cannes Film Festival.
