- In a specially built arena, Adele's concert series in Munich

British singer Adele performs the first of her ten concerts tonight in a pop-up stadium built especially for her in Munich. Around 74,000 people are expected at each show in the "Adele Arena," surrounded by an "Adele World" - a mini-festival featuring a pub, Ferris wheel, and carousel where guests can spend time before and after the concert.

This is Adele's first European mainland performance since 2016. Tickets, ranging from over 400 euros, sold out quickly for the concerts taking place between August 2nd and 31st. However, some tickets remain, with "Lucky Dip" tickets available for just 35 euros.

Promising an unprecedented concert experience with exceptional sound quality on all seats, event organizer Marek Lieberberg emphasizes, "It's like studio quality." The amphitheater-style arena ensures all viewers are roughly the same distance from the massive stage, which extends into the audience with catwalks.

A giant screen serves as the backdrop: Adele will be seen on a 220-meter-wide and 17-meter-high screen. This is Munich's second major musical event in a short span, following Taylor Swift's performance at the Olympic Stadium last weekend.

The concert series, organized by event organizer Marek Lieberberg, consists of ten performances by British singer Adele in the "Adele Arena." Despite some tickets being available at a lower price through the "Lucky Dip," the majority of tickets for the 'The concert series' sold out promptly.
