New function at WhatsApp - How one can manage one's favorites now

Users who heavily use WhatsApp know that the messenger app can sometimes be cluttered. In its latest update, the Meta daughter company has therefore released a useful feature that makes it easier for users to manage their chats efficiently. Here's how the new feature works.

With the new Feature, WhatsApp aims to help its users focus on their most important contacts and groups. Users can display chats with people and groups that mean the most to them quickly and easily in the call tab and as a filter for chats.

How to use WhatsApp Favorites: Users' guide to the new feature

To add contacts to Favorites, users can select the "Favorites" filter on the Chats screen and determine their preferred contacts or groups. Alternatively, they can tap on "Add to Favorites" in the call tab and make their selections.

Additionally, WhatsApp offers the option to manage Favorites in the settings. Under "Settings > Favorites > Add to Favorites," users can add or change the order of their Favorites at any time. WhatsApp introduced the new feature last week, and users who haven't received it yet will get it "in the coming weeks," according to the company's blog.

This new feature at WhatsApp allows users to prioritize their most significant contacts and groups by displaying them in the call tab and as a chat filter. With the "Favorites" option, users can add their preferred contacts or groups by selecting the filter on the Chats screen or by tapping "Add to Favorites" in the call tab. Lastly, users can manage their Favorites via the settings menu, where they can add or reorder favorites at any time.
