Where is Wanda? - Heike Makatsch goes in search [in October]

Where is Wanda? This question is being asked by Heike Makatsch (52) and Axel Stein (42) in a new eight-part series. "Where's Wanda?", a production of UFA Fiction, is the first German-language series for the streaming service Apple TV+. It starts on October 2 with the first two episodes. New episodes will be released every Wednesday.

German Stars Snoop in the Suburbs

In "Where's Wanda?", a Black Comedy, Wanda (Lea Drinda, 23) has been missing for months. Dedo and Carlotta Klatt (Stein and Makatsch) take matters into their own hands as the police are not making progress. They manage to obtain surveillance equipment with the help of their son Ole (Leo Simon). First, they disturb the neighborhood, then the entire suburban area.

Apart from Makatsch and Stein, there are many other familiar faces in the series. There are appearances, for example, from multitalented Nikeata Thompson (43), moderator and actress Palina Rojinski (39), her colleague Kostja Ullmann (40), and the rising young actress Harriet Herbig-Matten (20) who gained fame from the Prime Video series "Maxton Hall - The World Between Us". Devid Striesow (50), Joachim Król (67), and Jasmin Shakeri also take on roles.

Christian Ditter and Tobi Baumann directed "Where's Wanda?". Ditter is known for the US Comedy "How to Be Single" and the Netflix series "Biohackers", while Baumann is known for the miniseries "Faking Hitler", the sitcom "Pastewka", and the Comedy "Der WiXXer".
