Ed Sheeran - He announces three appearances in Germany
British superstar Ed Sheeran (33) has announced concert dates for next year and revealed where he will perform in Germany. On Instagram, the singer wrote: "The Mathematics Tour comes to an end in 2025! We'll be visiting most places we haven't been to yet." The first shows will be in Europe, with more to follow.
Ed Sheeran's next year performances
Among the venues he announced in the post are Madrid, Marseille, Rome, and Lille, as well as Stuttgart (29. June 2025, MHPArena), Hamburg (5. July 2025, Volksparkstadion), and Düsseldorf (5. September 2025, Merkur Spiel-Arena). Shows in Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Belgium, Switzerland, and Norway have also been planned by Ed Sheeran.
The presale starts on Wednesday, 10. July. Düsseldorf is currently the last announced stop of Ed Sheeran's current concert tour. The tour began in April 2022 in Dublin, Ireland. This year, the singer performed mostly at festivals in Germany, including Hurricane in Scheeßel and at the fan festival in Munich for the opening match of the European Football Championship.

At the EM, Ed Sheeran was also a passionate spectator. When England's national team made it to the quarterfinals on 30. June, the world star, who is known to be a big football fan, was there. Ed Sheeran sat in the stands at the Arena AufSchalke in Gelsenkirchen, wearing an England jersey. In the images from the arena, which show Ed Sheeran in an England jersey, you can see a rollercoaster of emotions. At first, he sang the national anthem loudly, later there were rather subdued to disappointed looks. In the end, however, he and his friends embraced each other as the team celebrated a narrow 2:1 victory against Slovakia in the quarterfinals. Ed Sheeran was also reportedly present at England's group match against Denmark in Frankfurt, where he was accompanied by his father.
