The singer Halsey seems to have faced a tough battle with an illness. At the age of 29, she announced her new album and single titled "The End" on June 4th. Sharing various videos on Instagram, she expressed, "I'm fortunate to still be alive. I've penned an album."

In one of those videos, Halsey can be seen sitting on a couch, trying to alleviate what appears to be painful legs. She mused: "I feel like an old woman. I've informed myself that I'll endure two more years to be sick. By the time I'm 30, I'll have a rebirth, won't be ill anymore, and will be super good-looking with a lot of energy, re-living my twenties again in my thirties."

Halsey intends to contribute to Leukemia- and Lupus-organizations

Furthermore, the 29-year-old posted several clips featuring her in the hospital with an IV in her arm. Although she didn't explicitly disclose what disease she was dealing with, she did link the Instagram accounts of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Lupus Research Alliance in her caption. Per reports from American media outlets, a portion of the album's profits will be donated to these two organizations.

In the song "The End," Halsey sings about the hard time of the illness and the treatment. One line goes, "There is poison in my brain and in my blood," which, along with the Instagram footage portraying the IV, hints at a severe affliction and chemotherapy.

Halsey had earlier divulged in 2022 that after giving birth to her son in the summer of 2021, she experienced several health complications. The doctors eventually diagnosed her with various autoimmune diseases, including Sjögren's syndrome and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS).
