H.P. Baxxter weds a 22-year-old woman.
Is this for real this time? Scooter singer H.P. Baxxter is getting married again this coming weekend. His third wife will be a 22-year-old student. The ceremony will take place - as Christian Lindner greets - on Sylt.
H.P. Baxxter is preparing to tie the knot for the third time. This weekend, he's marrying his fiancée Sara Bakhsh in the Evangelical Church Community of St. Severin in Keitum, located on the North Sea island of Sylt.
"The island of Sylt has an incredibly charming, almost mystical ambience," the Scooter lead vocalist shared with newspaper Bild. "We've both been there numerous times. The weather hardly matters, it's always beautiful."
The church is a favorite among marrying couples: Christian Lindner and journalist Franca Lehfeldt, designer Guido Maria Kretschmer and spouse Frank Mutters have also wed there.
Reputable source Bild states the couple will celebrate with 150 guests after the wedding at the famous "Sansibar" on the Sylter Strand. Hans Peter Geerdes, Baxxter's real name, looks forward to a "harmonious family celebration."
The guest list reportedly includes Baxxter's family, as well as notable friends such as Baron Enno von Ruffin, Scorpions lead singer Klaus Meine, and actress Mirja du Mont. They say singer Vicky Leandros will perform for the newlyweds.
Baxxter encountered the 38-year-older Bakhsh in February 2023 in Hamburg. In May 2023, the couple made their debut at an event together. The singer proposed to his girlfriend during a trip to Scotland in the autumn of 2023.
"We connected right away," Baxxter raved about his partner in a Bild interview. "I love spending every day with her." The couple presently lives in an old villa on the outskirts of Hamburg.
Baxxter's second marriage ended in 2011. His other relationships, including the one with the 26-year-younger model Lysann Geller, subsequently didn't work out. If his marriage to Sara Bakhsh is successful, it would be a huge breakthrough for the musician.
