H.P. Baxxter returns to the scene.
Previously, it was mentioned that the lead vocalist of Scooter, H.P. Baxxter, planned to wed his girlfriend Sara Bakhsh over the weekend on Sylt. However, the nuptials were reported even before anyone could utter "Celebrate the weekend." The 60-year-old singer himself provided a confirmation on his Instagram profile.
The details of whether guests exclaimed "Hyper Hyper" with excitement or "Dub, dub, dub, da, da, dub, dub, dub" are unclear. What's for sure is that Scooter's frontman, H.P. Baxxter, is now a married man! This fact is verified by a photo he shared on his Instagram account.
In the image, Baxxter and his now-wife, Sara Bakhsh, are depicted in celebratory attire. The musician sports a cream-colored jacket matched with a dark suit and dark slippers. His new bride, clad in a multi-colored mini dress, has wrapped a similar cream-colored cloth over her dress. In her hands, she holds the bridal bouquet.
Baxxter's caption to the photo is straightforward and concise: "Just married," he tagged along with a red heart emoji.
It's safe to assume that the couple has already passed through their civil wedding ceremony. Speculations surfaced mid-week that they intended to host their wedding in the Evangelical Parish Church of St. Severin, Keitum, on the North Sea island. Therefore, the church wedding could still take place.
Baxxter's third wedding
"Bild" reported Baxxter's preference for the wedding venue with these words: "Sylt has a rather stunning, almost mystical ambiance. We've both been there often. The weather doesn't really matter - it's always beautiful."
According to the newspaper, the happy couple was scheduled to arrive at the wedding in an antique Rolls-Royce. Their reception was set to occur at the famous "Sansibar" on Sylter Strand. Pop singer Vicky Leandros was slated to entertain the newlyweds.
This marks H.P. Baxxter's third marriage, after his second divorce in 2011. He and the 22-year-old student Bakhsh, who is 38 years younger than the singer, met in February 2023 in Hamburg. Baxxter proposed to her in the fall of 2023 while on a vacation in Scotland.
