Queen Maxima of the Netherlands (53) seemed to have enjoyed her latest appearance judging by the looks of it. The wife of King Willem-Alexander (57) beamed as she observed children playing and climbing at a playground in Zevenbergschen Hoek, a town in the southern province of North Brabant.
Queen Maxima's Necklace Draws Attention
The Dutch queen wore a bright pink top with short sleeves during her appearance at the playground, which she paired with an oversized flower-design necklace that also glowed in pink. She completed her royal outfit with a high-waisted wide-legged pants, diamond earrings, a shimmering bracelet, and pump shoes adorned with laces, as well as a pink clutch.
Although this was not suitable for climbing the playground equipment or sitting in the sandbox, photos show that Maxima, who had tied back her hair for the playground visit, encouraged the children's play with great joy. During this visit to the town of 1,600 residents, the queen inspected an elderly care home and a community center, and spoke with local business owners and a doctor, as shown on Instagram by the Royal Household.

However, Queen Maxima demonstrated that she can do more than just watch and listen at the end of June, as the 53-year-old attended a particularly athletic engagement in the Dutch city of Hertogenbosch. In full military uniform, she participated in a team exercise with Pioneer troops. According to media reports, she donned a camouflage overall, helmet, and vest during the event. Maxima appeared to be having fun during the various exercises, as her radiant smile in the event photos attested.
