Bundesliga - Gladbach's Virkus: "Could have had more points"

Borussia Mönchengladbach's sporting director Roland Virkus is dissatisfied with the points haul so far after 15 games this season. "There are a lot of games where we've let things slip," said Virkus after the 2:2 (1:1) draw against Werder Bremen. Once again, his team squandered points after taking the lead - a total that has already reached 14 in the current half of the season.

"We could definitely have had more points," said Gladbach's sporting director, who are stuck in mid-table with 17 points from 15 games instead of competing for a place in the European Cup.

For coach Gerardo Seoane, the lack of confidence in many games when leading is an expression of his young team's inexperience. "We're lacking a lot," said the Swiss. "There are a few points that need to be developed further."
