German Beach Duo misses the Gold Cup

Clemens Wickler and Nils Ehlers, the two Germans, lose the Olympic Beach Volleyball final - but win silver. The gold medal goes to the Swedish duo David Ahman and Jonatan Hellvig, who triumph with a 2:0 victory in the stadium under the Eiffel Tower.

The Olympic Beach Volleyball final in 2024 will take place in Paris, where Clemens Wickler and Nils Ehlers aim to defend their silver medal from this year's games. Despite losing to the Swedish duo David Ahman and Jonatan Hellvig in the final of the 2020 Olympic Games, Wickler and Ehlers showed resilience and strength, securing the second position with a 2:0 victory in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower.
