Georgina Fleur is aiming for the royal title!
"I can't bloody believe it! Look at me, I've done it!", exclaims Georgina, victoriously raising her arms. Surrounding her is the vast expanse of South Africa, and above her, the one and only adornment a queen deserves - the Jungle crown. Georgina Fleur, who was once deemed "sleeping beauty", has truly awakened in the final days of the Jungle camp.
She possessed a big mouth, but a heart that meant well. She never shied away from standing up for herself when faced with verbal attacks. A woman who was undoubtedly divisive, not one to make friends easily, yet one who owned up to her mistakes and apologized whenever necessary. "What you've just achieved here," Jean commends the new Jungle queen, "is nothing short of admirable! You are the true legend of the Jungle."
Indeed, Georgina demonstrated more than just a performance in the final eating trial. With the challenge labeled "Celebrity gluttony", she brutally devoured her way to victory. Her final opponent, Kader, simply couldn't keep up when it came to who was brave enough to consume the most portions. So, the 34-year-old effortlessly consumed ten mouse tails, four fermented eggs, three impala eyes, and let me remind you, yes, you read it correctly, even twelve bowls overflowing with chicken guts!
Kader also put up a good fight and downed almost a dozen shots of vomit fruit, but ultimately, there's no point in beating around the bush: Georgina had earned her rightful place on the throne like no other. The fiery-redheaded queen had triumphed. And what does that bring to mind? Of course! Lucy! Two redheads had ruled this year's Jungle.
Beauty time and the last feast
The title of Jungle princess went to none other than Kader Loth. The "Petit Grand Lady" had previously given Gigi, "the Brain", a run for her money. So, the three were last seen with their faces submerged in helmets filled with corn snakes. Bugs crawled up and down their limbs for six minutes. Despite Georgina winning the "organic stopwatch", Kader was just a breath away from La Fleur.
"Mr. Methane" accepted his elimination with grace. Perhaps his calmness stemmed from the fact that he had spoken with "little Gigi" the night before the final trials and had expertly trimmed the hedges of the house. As a result, the last man and the two Jungle queens had successfully completed a joint treasure hunt and earned themselves various beauty products as a reward.
One woman filed her nails, while the other chose a deep-cleansing face mask. What wouldn't one do for the final mandatory dinner? Finally, indulging and enjoying oneself to the fullest! There was pizza and spaghetti, and for dessert, delightful ice cream. All this without any noise from the kitchen utensil-wielding culinary dictators. Gigi would have loved to sit on the throne and win the 100,000 Euro prize, but Georgina fought for the victory as if all the disgusting foods were exquisite delicacies. And perhaps one should see it like Kader, who left the camp with "nostalgia and heartfelt gratitude." In the end, even the third-place contestant found the right words: "It's not always about winning, but about appreciation."
With that, this special season of Jungle-Legends comes to a close. Regular broadcasting will resume in Australia in January 2025. Or as host Köppen puts it until then: "Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!"
Georgina and Kader, both having proven their resilience in the Jungle camp, decided to indulge in the final feast before their departure. The menu included pizza, spaghetti, and a delightful dessert of ice cream, allowing them to enjoy themselves to the fullest. (Georgina and Kader enjoying the final feast)
