Whether you know her as Miley Cyrus or Hannah Montana, the world-renowned 31-year-old singer and actress has been dealing with an issue she's tried to keep under wraps for around six years. A persistent stalker, described by TMZ, seems to have reappeared outside her home in Los Angeles.
The persistent nuisance, who's had past encounters with the law, was most recently seen with a teddy bear, taunting Cyrus outside her mansion. According to the celebrity gossip outlet, this is no isolated event. Security personnel at Cyrus' home recognized the man due to his previous offenses. They quickly detained him before the police were alerted. Amazingly, Cyrus wasn't even present during the altercation.
The Man Cannot Contact Miley Cyrus According to Court Order
According to TMZ, the alleged stalker has been arrested time and again by the police. In fact, they even claim that he was detained in January this year in front of Cyrus' home. The man sent her hate mail and made inappropriate suggestions - all of which led to her filing a restraining order against him.
The court granted her request, forbidding the stalker from getting in touch with her, hanging out at her concerts, or coming near Cyrus' home closer than approximately 90 meters. She made a formal complaint against him in 2023. This culminated in the man's arrest for violating this court order and being imprisoned. Two years before, in 2021, the alleged stalker had coincidentally appeared in front of her home just days after being released from prison. This resulted in his arrest and jail time until August 2023. Looks like the man just can't stay away from this singer.
