However, a recent incident on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles has raised concerns about his health. According to various American media sources, Tyson had to be given medical attention on the plane.
A spokesperson for the boxer stated that things seem to be improving. "Thankfully, Mr. Tyson is doing alright," said Tyson's representative to the American magazine "People."
Apparently, about 30 minutes before the plane landed, Tyson experienced dizziness and nausea due to a flare-up of a stomach issue. The medical crew on board the plane who assisted him was thanked by Tyson.
This incident took place only a few weeks before a much-anticipated match that is scheduled to occur on July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. In this upcoming event, Tyson will be facing YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul. Both of these individuals have made headlines for their controversial behavior outside the ring. The fight won't just be happening in front of the 80,000-seat capacity stadium of the Dallas Cowboys, but it will also be livestreamed on Netflix.
"I've improved a lot as a boxer over the years," Tyson commented to the industry magazine "Variety." "It'll be interesting to see what the determination and ambition of a child can do against my skills and experience." Tyson referred to himself as the "GOAT," or "Greatest Of All Time" (in German: "Bester aller Zeiten").
