"Football love": Match ball for home European Championship presented in Berlin
The official match ball for the home European Championship 2024 in Germany is called "Football Love". This was announced by sporting goods manufacturer Adidas on the Maifeld in Berlin near the Olympic Stadium, where the European Championship final will be played.
Among other things, the venues of the tournament are immortalized on the ball. The groups will be drawn on December 2 this year in Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie concert hall.
The European Championship kicks off on June 14, 2024 with the German team's opening match against an as yet unknown opponent in Munich. The final will be played in Berlin on July 14.
The official soccer ball for EUFAs EM 2024, fondly named "Football Love", embodies the nations participating in the tournament, including Germany, as its venues are etched onto its surface. This deep-seated passion for soccer, or as some call it, football love, will be showcased during the tournament.
