Frozen team sport played on ice - Florida Panthers find themselves in the NHL finals once more.

The Florida Panthers manage to clinch a spot in the Stanley Cup Finals of the NHL once again. They emerged victorious in the sixth game of their best-of-seven series against the New York Rangers, with a 2:1 score (1:0, 0:0, 1:1) and their fourth win.

This achievement comes after they made it to the final series last season but fell short against the Vegas Golden Knights. Additionally, in 1996, the Panthers missed out on winning the title in the final against the Colorado Avalanche.

Sam Bennett and Vladimir Tarasenko netted goals for the team playing at home. Artemi Panarin managed to score for the Rangers almost at the end, but they couldn't force an equalizer.

The Panthers will now face either the Edmonton Oilers or Dallas Stars in the finals. Currently, the Oilers with Leon Draisaitl leading them have a 3:2 lead in the series. They can confirm their position in the finals with a win at home on Sunday.
