FC Bayern with Goretzka and Upamecano against BVB

FC Bayern Munich can rely on Leon Goretzka and Dayot Upamecano for the Bundesliga summit at Borussia Dortmund.

The two recently injured professionals reported fit in time and are in the starting eleven for the match this evening (18:30/Sky). They will replace the suspended Joshua Kimmich and Matthijs de Ligt, who has a knee injury.

Midfielder Goretzka is likely to make an appearance with a splint following a fractured metacarpal. Defender Upamecano only returned to team training this week. In contrast to Munich's embarrassing cup exit in Saarbrücken on Wednesday (1-2), goalscorer Harry Kane will be involved from the start.

BVB coach Edin Terzic can call on almost all of his top players. Only international Emre Can is missing from the squad. He will be replaced by the recently strong Salih Özcan.

Despite Borussia Dortmund having Emre Can absent due to international duties, they still have a strong squad for the Bundesliga clash against FC Bayern Munich. Leon Goretzka, who is recovering from a fractured metacarpal, is expected to feature for Bayern in a splint, joining Dayot Upamecano in the starting lineup, replacing the suspended Joshua Kimmich and injured Matthijs de Ligt.
