Friendship Amongst the Young Physicians - Favorite ARD show takes a summer hiatus.
Since 2015, the show "In aller Freundschaft - The Young Doctors" has been holding the attention of viewers on Das Erste. But, the captivating spin-off of "In aller Freundschaft" has planned a lengthy summer break, beginning after the next episode on June 20th. According to ARD's announcement on Friday, the show will return on August 22nd.
Finale episodes before the summer break
In an emotional climax at Johannes-Thal-Clinic in Erfurt, some dramatic events take place before the season's break: In the "Rausch" (Buzz) episode, Konstantin Gruber (Dennis Svensson) collapses on the dance floor of an exam party. Sofia Galura (Olivia Papoli-Barawati, 29) along with some colleagues provide emergency aid, yet in the ER, Dr. Leyla Sherbaz (Sanam Afrashteh, 47) and Florian Osterwald (Lion Wascyk, 29) battle to save Konstantin's life. At this point, Sofia notices that her colleague is withholding vital information.
In the upcoming episode "Selbstliebe" (Self-love), Sofia catches the spotlight again: Due to her connection with Dr. Ben Ahlbeck (Philipp Danne, 39), she creates disturbances and friction between Leyla and the other staff members.
Tune in on August 22nd, 6:50 pm on Das Erste to watch "Selbstliebe" as the first episode of the resumed series. Meanwhile, the broadcaster will air various other programs during the show's summer break, including the June 14th kick-off of the European Football Championship in Germany and the Summer Olympics in Paris, which runs from July 26th to August 11th in the French capital.
