Andreas Gabalier becomes ill - Fans must be afraid of Kitzbühel concerts
Actually, folk music star Andreas Gabalier (39) was supposed to perform this weekend in Kitzbühel. However, after a worrying Instagram post from the folk-rock 'n' roller, fans are now concerned about the planned performances on August 16th and 17th at the 10th Kitzbühel Music Festival. Gabalier announced on social media that he had to go to the hospital due to a viral infection.

"Big thanks to the warm-hearted helpfulness of the ENT department at LKH Klagenfurt! I've been fighting a viral infection for over a week now, which has given me coughing fits and resulting voice problems," the musician wrote on Instagram on August 14th. Nevertheless, he hopes that with medical support, he will be able to play the upcoming legendary Kitzbühel concert. Gabalier also notes that he won't be able to perform with his usual strength and energy, but promises: "I will do my best for the town of Kitzbühel."
The upcoming concerts, where Gabalier will perform for the tenth time at the Kitzbühel Music Festival, have not been canceled yet. You're only human, I wish you a speedy recovery from the bottom of my heart," are some of the comments.
Even if Gabalier does encounter voice problems on stage, one user has a solution. "No worries, Kitzbühel is absolutely lyrics-sure! This time we'll take over and you can rest. Get well soon," reads a particularly heartfelt comment on Instagram.
