Taylor Swift in Hamburg - Fans at Campende and glittering Elbphilharmonie

Where Taylor Swift (34) is, the crowd is growing larger. The singer is currently the biggest artist of our time, breaking records with her "The Eras" tour. After three concert evenings in Gelsenkirchen, the world star has now moved on to Hamburg. On July 23 and 24, she will play here at Volksparkstadion, two sold-out concerts in front of 50,000 people each. The Hanseatic City is doing everything it can to present itself in the best light for Swift's presence - even the classic Hamburg rain can't change that.

Swift-themed Street Art and Shimmering Elbphilharmonie

The entire city has already immersed itself in Taylor-glitz. As reported by "Hamburger Abendblatt", there is a large graffiti of the artist's name to be seen on the Reeperbahn, opposite the famous David-Wache.

Hamburg's most famous landmark has also dressed itself - at least virtually - appropriately for Taylor Swift's stage outfits in glitter: On the Instagram account of the Elbphilharmonie, a processed video can be seen in which the concert hall glitters blue and pink like a Swift song. "Let's make the whole city shine," it says.

Long Queues Already in the Early Morning Hours

Entrance to the arena, where the HSV football team usually plays, is at 4 pm. Paramore will open the evening with their performance at 6:15 pm, and Swift herself will take the stage with her spectacular show around 7:40 pm. Her fans have been eagerly anticipating this performance for months and have traveled from all over the world - it's no wonder that the queue for the best seats is already kilometers long hours beforehand.

According to "Hamburger Abendblatt", Swifties who couldn't get hold of a ticket can look forward to an extensive program in Hamburg. Several locations in the city are inviting to after-show parties or cocktail evenings to the hits of the musician. In the Barclays Arena, there is also a "Merch Megastore," where fan merchandise can be purchased. A tattoo studio in the Eimsbüttel district has organized a "Taylor Swift Walk In Day" for the two concert days, where one can get a Taylor tattoo without an appointment.

After Hamburg, Taylor Swift's tour goes to Munich for the last two concerts in Germany before she goes to Poland. Munich also wants to celebrate the visit of the pop star with some highlights.
