- Eva-Maria Lemke returns as the presenter on ZDF's morning news program.
Eva-Maria Lemke, the telly show host, is rejoining "ZDF-Morgenmagazin". The 42-year-old will kick off her hosting stint on September 2nd, 7:00 AM, as per ZDF's announcement.
"I'm pumped to strike the right balance between current news and timeless narrative, straight from the epicenter of Berlin in the mornings," Lemke expressed in a statement. "I can't wait to tag along with our viewers as they dive into the news of the day. And I'm thrilled that I can make this happen by coming back to ZDF's information program."
Lemke had previously served as the "ZDF-Morgenmagazin" host from 2014 to 2015, followed by her role as the presenter of ZDF's cross-media news magazine "heute+" until 2018. This Berlin native native also helmed "Abendschau" for RBB from 2018 to 2024. Moreover, she hosted ARD's magazine "Kontraste" from 2019 to 2024.
Lemke will be returning to her beloved "ZDF-Morgenmagazin" after several years, resuming her role as the show's host. Her first day back on air will be on September 2nd, beginning at 7:00 AM.
