From an early age, Campbell exhibited a passion for riding. She started at the tender age of two and thrived as a show jumper. Later, she developed a love for cross-country racing. In her teenage years, she earned a call-up to Great Britain's junior team, and she made her five-star debut in 2009. She would go on to join the Nations Cup teams, representing her country regularly.
