European Championship semi-final - England with 26 players in training - Kane also involved

England's Football National Team can take on the EURO semi-final with its full squad. At the closing training in Blankenhain, trainer Gareth Southgate had all 26 professionals at his disposal in the afternoon, including Captain Harry Kane. The 30-year-old Kane was substituted out due to cramps during the win over Switzerland on Saturday, but seems to have recovered well since then.

The Three Lions face the Netherlands on Wednesday (21.00 hours/ARD and MagentaTV) in Dortmund. Defensive midfielder Marc Guehi may have to return to the first team due to a suspended yellow card and replace Ezri Konsa. It is considered unlikely that Southgate will introduce a new impetus in offense with Cole Palmer or Anthony Gordon.

Shaw or Trippier?

It is open whether Southgate will field his team in the usual 4-2-3-1 or the 3-4-2-1 system from the Switzerland game. Returnee Luke Shaw is ready for a starting eleven appearance after a long injury. "Naturally, I think I'm fit and ready for 90 minutes. It's up to Gareth to decide that," said the defender. So far, Kieran Trippier has taken on the role of left back at the EURO.

England travels from the training in Blankenhain to the west after the training. In the evening, Southgate and Kane speak at the semi-final stadium in Dortmund at the press conference.
