Eminem unveils the track "Houdini," accompanied by a video featuring numerous celebrities.

It seems like Eminem is bidding farewell to his alter ego through his new album, named "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace)".

The first single from the album, "Houdini", is out now. This track samples the Steve Miller Band's hit from 1982, "Abracadabra". In the song, he criticizes several individuals, including Megan Thee Stallion and even himself.

In regards to Megan Thee Stallion, he raps, "If I was to ask Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me, would I really have a shot at a feat?" This is a reference to the incident where Tory Lanez shot Megan in the feet in 2020, resulting in a 10-year prison sentence for Lanez.

A music video for "Houdini" was also released, with Eminem receiving assistance from some of his famous pals. The video starts with Eminem's manager, Paul Rosenberg, leaving a not-so-encouraging voicemail about the new album. Dr. Dre then informs him that there's a problem.

The trouble involves a portal allowing time travel between the present day and 2002. The video's supporting cast includes cameos from 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Pete Davidson.

There's a battle scene in the video where Eminem goes up against his younger self, recalling the vibe of his "Without Me" music video from 2002.

A phony obituary of Slim Shady was recently published in his hometown newspaper, the Detroit Free Press, calling him a "rogue splinter in the flourishing underground rap scene."

Eminem's previous album, "Music to Be Murdered By", came out in 2020. His latest work is slated for release this summer.
