Elton (53) will present the game show "Elton's 12" as a Saturday evening show on RTL (also on RTL+) for the first time at the end of the year. Produced by Stefan Raab's Raab Entertainment, the show brings together twelve famous candidates who have something Special in common.

"Elton's 12": What's It About

"This show has everything we love about action game shows," explains Elton about the new format in a statement. The host promises "nerve-wracking tension, sweat, and pain." He doesn't have to go through it himself, but instead gets to "enjoy the madness" as a moderator. A total of six shows have been announced, in which twelve Stars compete against each other. The celebrities should ideally bring a broad range of skills. "The challenges range from delicate craft work to brain-teasing puzzles, all the way to breathtaking sports competitions on a large playground," the announcement states.

The stars should also have commonalities such as a TV format, profession, or passion. However, they do not act as a group, but compete individually in the games and face off in duels. After two rounds of competition, only the winners move on. In the final, the best three will determine the winner or winners. They will receive a prize money of 100,000 Euro.

"Elton's 12" is expected to go into production in the fall, with broadcast scheduled for the winter 24/25. Frank "Buschi" Buschmann (59) will take on the commentator role. Together with Elton, he will be present for "Elton's 12" in the fall at another RTL production: "The Clark Final Fight - Stefan Raab vs. Regina Halmich" will be broadcast live on RTL. Elton will moderate the event on September 14, with Buschmann as commentator for Raab's boxing match against Regina Halmich (47).

At the beginning of April, it was announced that ProSieben and Elton were parting ways. With that, he also lost his show "Schlag den Star," which he had presented for 13 years. His successor was announced the same day: his predecessor Matthias Opdenhoevel (53). Elton later expressed his disappointment about his departure on his official Instagram account, stating, "I didn't give up this wonderful show willingly."
