When Isabel Edvardsson took a break from Instagram following the birth of her third child, it was clear that she and her husband Marcus Weiss, along with their two sons, just wanted to enjoy their new family member privately. The happy news finally arrived as Edvardsson returned to Instagram with a post that left fans happy. In this post, she announced the baby's gender.
"Before the most commonly asked question arrives," she writes, with the sound of drums in the background: "We have a little boy!" She didn't share the baby's name, but she did share some cute details: "He's so incredibly sweet. I'm going back and forth and we're all very happy." The family has been enjoying their first few weeks together privately.
In another Q&A session, the dancer explained why she waited until she was 35 to have her first child: "Due to my dance career and being a physically active athlete, it was impossible to have children earlier. I'm so happy that we managed to have three children. It's a dream for us." She gave birth to her second child at 38 and her third child when she was 41.
Isabel Edvardsson has been married to her professional dancer husband Marcus Weiss since 2015. Their first son was born in September 2017. The news of their second son's birth was announced in April 2021. Edvardsson announced her third pregnancy in November with the words: "From now on, everyone will be able to see it. Marcus is making me a bowl of salted cucumbers."
