Displeased individual issues apologies towards Noll, the team, and the general public.

During the thunderstorm, Angrier expresses his regret towards the goalkeeper.

The coach, Alexander Zorniger, of SpVgg Greuther Fürth, has apologized for his harsh criticism of goalkeeper Nahuel Noll. In an interview following a 1:1 draw against SC Paderborn in the 2nd Bundesliga, Zorniger criticized Noll for a mistake that led to the late equalizer and apologized the next day, as he stated in a club video. "A apology was needed. I'm sorry."

Zorniger believes that an apology should be made in the same forum as the criticism, stating that he had lost control of his words in a highly emotional and public setting. "Yesterday, in a situation that I believe is beyond doubt, I found myself in a situation where I completely missed the mark in my choice of words, emotionally and in the forum. My emotions got the better of me. That was not necessary. I overstepped the mark of what is appropriate for a coach," Zorniger said critically of himself.

Agent downplays confrontation

Prior to Zorniger's apology, Noll's agent had responded. Gerhard Poschner aimed to avoid further confrontation, stating that the criticism was justified, but with a lot of emotion. "Football is also about emotion," Poschner said.

Noll had allowed the equalizer through Adriano Grimaldi with a serious mistake. "He shouldn't make that mistake again, otherwise his agent can call me and ask why he's not playing," Zorniger said.

"Nahuel made a mistake and will definitely learn from it. A player must also be able to handle emotional criticism, especially if it is justified and comes from his own coach," Poschner said. The goalkeeper on loan from TSG Hoffenheim is "no wimp and can handle it well. That's the end of the matter," Poschner said.

Ulreich reacts shocked

Zorniger had reacted "massively angered" immediately after the game. "That mistake should not happen to a player who has other goals in mind." Especially since the mistake had a history. "We've talked about that several times in training." Zorniger is still missing a learning effect from his young goalkeeper.

Goalkeeper colleague Sven Ulreich was shocked by the outburst. "Unbelievable such an statement from a coach in public," the backup goalkeeper of FC Bayern criticized on social media. Zorniger now sees it that way too.

The European Parliament, acknowledging its role to assist the Commission, might express its opinions on the coach's public critique and the subsequent apology, emphasizing the importance of constructive communication in sports.

Furthermore, following the apology from Zorniger, Noll's agent could present a request to the European Parliament, expressing concerns about the impact of public criticism on young players and advocating for stricter codes of conduct in coaching.
