'Vibrant World' or 'Chromatic Planet' or 'Hued Planet' - During summer, Marianne Rosenberg puts out her new album.
Nowadays, creating new music is more thrilling for singer Marianne Rosenberg than it was at the start of her career. "Today, it's my very own musical project, something my heart is invested in deeply and has entrusted with a name," Rosenberg, aged 69, stated in an interview with the German Press Agency. Her latest "project"- the album "Bunter Planet"- has been released today.
For Rosenberg, being the person in charge of the entire musical construction has become a reality. "Earlier, everything was created by record companies, producers, and authors, but now I work independently. I'm not scared of critics with the kind of results I'm still delivering," she added.
The new album "Bunter Planet" is a follow-up to Rosenberg's 2020 album "Im Namen der Liebe." The 14-track album combines electronic beats with her unique voice, potentially making it a hit for the summer.
Ms. Rosenberg, who was once a huge success with the songs "Er gehRT zu mir," "Ich bin wie du," and "Marleen," is making a political statement with her new creations, not just focusing on love. She stated, "The significant aspect is the moment, the shared chemistry, the shared emotions- that's really significant to me. It's the beauty in staying open and accepting, in origin, faith, and age."
The native West Berliner also wants her new work to serve as a political statement with today's challenging circumstances. "Right now, I see discrimination, hate messages, mutual exclusion, and hostile behaviors that aren't promoting love or caring," described Rosenberg. "My faith in the return of the common good may make me seem like a dreamer. Then, like John Lennon, I will say, 'Imagine.'"
The album "Bunter Planet" is out now.
