The Edmonton Oilers, led by Leon Draisaitl, a top-notch player in the playoffs, have tied up the thrilling series against the Vancouver Canucks. This past game six of the series, a 5:1 (1:1, 2:0, 2:0) victory for the Oilers, equalizes the Western Conference semi-finals at 3:3. Hitting the net for the Oilers were Dylan Holloway, Zach Hyman, Evan Bouchard, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Evander Kane. McDavid's most recent regular season leader Hyman scored his 10th goal of the playoffs.

Team captain Connor McDavid played a key role, dishing out three assists, while Draisaitl recorded two. The 28-year-old German winged wonder set up Holloway's 1:0 and Kane's 5:1. In the NHL playoffs, Draisaitl stands out as the leading scorer with 23 goals. His remarkable contributions have set up at least one goal in all eleven playoff games this season. Additionally, Draisaitl is third on the list of NHL legends to achieve a century of scoring points in just 60 playoff games, with over 100 points to his name. Players like Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux were faster to attain this milestone.

Draisaitl's performance, according to McDavid, is "nothing to be satisfied with or overly pleased about." He said, "We've given ourselves an extra day, but I anticipate the same pressure and intensity." The Canucks have been unable to recover from their previous losses, which were all decided by a merely single-goal deficit. The final clash of the series is to be held on Tuesday night at Vancouver. Dakota Stars mark the closing opponent in the Western Conference. The Eastern Conference duel will include the New York Rangers and the Florida Panthers.
