Blanchett had been spotted in various ensembles showcasing chains as the main focal point earlier. This included a black suit with an open back, adorned with numerous white pearl necklaces. The actress was in the city for the premiere of the miniseries "Disclaimer," where she played the lead role. As per industry magazine "Variety," among others, the show received a five-minute standing ovation.
The series is based on the psychological thriller novel "Deadline" by Renée Knight. As per a press release, the seven-episode series, directed by Alfonso Cuarón (62), will debut on Apple TV+ from October 11th. Alongside Blanchett, Kevin Kline (76) also plays a pivotal role. Blanchett depicts investigative journalist Catherine Ravenscroft, who unexpectedly becomes the heroine in an anonymous author's book, exposing her most intimate secrets.

Blanchett wasn't just commanding headlines with the series and her outfits, but also through a hilarious event. In a clip shared on the X platform (formerly Twitter), Blanchett, Kline, and Cuarón arrived together for the premiere. Just as Kline was about to step out, Blanchett inadvertently shut the car door behind her. Cuarón promptly intervened and reopened the door for the actor.
