After losing about 20 kilos in recent months, Danni feels fantastic in her new body. She frequently shares selfies and bikini photos on Instagram, enjoying the positive feedback from her fans.
However, the transformation has come with some concerns, such as fears of gaining weight back through certain foods. "When I eat something like a hamburger or a pizza, I worry that I'll start gaining weight again," she shared in an interview with RTL.
Her children also expressed worry that a medical condition could be responsible for her rapid weight loss.
Ozempic speculations
Though many admire Danni's weight loss success on social media, there are also those who suspect she used the weight loss injection, Ozempic. Under her Instagram posts, commenters have left remarks like "You look so old all of a sudden" and "Wow, how old and worn out she looks." Some followers even suggest she could have lost weight solely with the help of the injection.
Danni addressed these rumors during her RTL interview, insisting her transformation was a result of a strict diet and exercise routine. Filming the "Dschungelcamp" all-star season in South Africa contributed to the weight loss. According to her, she considered trying Ozempic but decided against it after witnessing friends who had had negative experiences using it.
The negative comments have taken a toll on Danni emotionally. "You can't please everyone," she said in an interview with Bild. "I used to post a picture and get told I was too fat. Now, after losing weight, people say I'm too thin or look 'worn out.' What does that even mean?"
