Cristiano Ronaldo's offspring revels in his birthday donned in a pink German Football Association jersey.
During Cristiano Ronaldo's history-making performance at the Football European Championship, his eldest son, Cristiano Jr., turns 14. Remarkably, he dons the prestigious pink away kit of the German National Team, rather than his father's jersey, as one might expect.
While Cristiano Ronaldo battles for the EM title in Germany, his eldest boy, Cristiano Jr., celebrated his birthday. Not in his father's kit, but surprisingly, in the celebrated pink away kit of the German National Team. This spectacle is captured in a video shared by Ronaldo's partner, Georgina Rodriguez, on Instagram. In the video, Cristiano Jr., looking a bit groggy, makes his way to the breakfast table where he's wished a happy birthday by his 30-year-old stepmother and his four siblings, and receives gifts.
Georgina Rodriguez captioned the video, "Happy Birthday to my big boy. I love you to the moon and back", and Ronaldo himself chimed in, "I can't believe you're 14, time flies. Happy Birthday, my partner in crime! Papa loves you so much", he wrote on Instagram.
Cristiano Jr. shares the field with Toni Kroos, who previously played alongside Ronaldo at Real Madrid. However, Ronaldo hasn't had the most pleasant experiences with Germany's national team. In both the World and European championships, he's faced the DFB team a total of five times, but has only managed to score a goal against them at the EM 2020. A win against Germany still eludes him.
aside from Cristiano Jr., Ronaldo has twins Eva and Mateo, as well as two daughters, Alana Martina and Bella Esmeralda, with Georgina Rodriguez. It's safe to assume that the family watched the first game of this EM featuring Ronaldo. The 39-year-old superstar and Portugal's team captain made his sixth EM participation count, setting a new record. He first participated in a European championship final tournament 20 years ago. Back then, the Portuguese lost to the surprise title holder Greece, coached by German coach Otto Rehhagel, in the final.
In 2016, the Portuguese won the EM in France. On that day, Ronaldo, the five-time World Footballer of the Year, was injured and encouraged his teammates from the sidelines to victory against the hosts. His appearance against the Czechs was Ronaldo's 26th at a European championship final tournament, a record. Before the first game of the Portuguese, he had scored 14 goals, also a record.
