Crisis giant New England surprises Pittsburgh
The third defeat in the fourth game, and this against the previously five-game winless New England Patriots: The Pittsburgh Steelers' NFL season is threatening to slip away completely after a good start. For the Patriots, a quarterback is finally making positive headlines again.
The New England Patriots have ended their losing streak in the NFL and surprisingly beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. After five defeats, the star coach Bill Belichick's series winners of the past decade, who are in deep crisis, won 21:18. It was only the third win in the 13th game of the season for the Patriots, who once again had substitute Bailey Zappe at quarterback. He had all three of his touchdown passes in the first half. The Patriots then saved the 21:3 advantage.
The Steelers, on the other hand, squandered further credit for their good start to the season with their third defeat in the last four games and are in danger of losing touch with the play-off places. The Steelers had already lost 10:24 against the Arizona Cardinals to a team with only two wins to date. With the Indianapolis Colts, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Seattle Seahawks and the Baltimore Ravens, only teams with playoff aspirations will face Pittsburgh in the remaining four games.
Zappe, who had replaced the recently pitiful and completely unsettled Mac Jones, recorded a total of 240 yards passing, JuJu Smith Schuster had 90 yards against his former team and was the most successful pass receiver of the day. Ezekiel Elliot also had a good evening with 22 runs for a total of 68 yards.

The Patriots' victory over the Steelers marks a turning point in their NFL season, ending a losing streak and boosting their morale. In contrast, the Steelers' American Football campaign is at risk of falling apart, with three losses in their last four games.
