Prince Harry (39) and Meghan (42), the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, won't be attending the "Trooping the Colour" ceremony on the 15th of June. As per "People" magazine, this is the second time in a row they haven't been invited to the military parade celebrating the British monarch's birthday. In 2021, they were absent during the first parade in honor of King Charles III (75).

The couple was present at the event for the first time in 2018, shortly after their wedding. They also attended while on the royal balcony following the birth of their son, Archie (5), in 2019. Due to the pandemic, the parades in 2020 and 2021 were held at a smaller scale at Windsor Castle, without a big family gathering.

Last time they attended was in 2022, marking the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, but didn't show up on the balcony with other royals. Since then, Harry and Meghan seldom visit Britain, possibly due to safety issues and Harry's disagreements with Charles and Prince William (41).

There was some uncertainty if the parade would happen this year as Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced parliamentary elections on July 4th, forcing King Charles and William to cancel their events. But the "Trooping the Colour" was confirmed to go ahead as planned on the usual stage. King Charles, despite his cancer diagnosis, will attend but opt for a seat in a carriage, instead of riding on horseback. But it's uncertain whether Princess Kate (42) will appear on the balcony because of her ongoing cancer treatment. Recently, the "Daily Mirror" reported that Kate might consider showing up if she feels well enough.
