A summer abode for celebrities. - Could the separation effect be in play?
Since 2016, "The Summer House of the Stars" (RTL) has been known for creating intense personal challenges among the participating couples and among themselves. Some seasons have even been explosive. Now, the latest season has been filmed and early reports suggest major conflicts at the annual Bocholt Promi-WG.
Who's in the Hot Seat?
Officially, RTL revealed that security was called in during the show's awards. "There was a tense situation at the 'Summer House,' which required pre-emptive security measures. This situation was resolved," the statement said. However, the participants involved remain a mystery.
In the beginning of the week, reality stars and show participants Sam Dylan (33) and Rafi Rachek (34) hinted at possible conflicts on Instagram. "We're finally free. I'm so glad there's security in every format, because there are so many unstable people who are unpredictable," Rafi commented. Sam added, "Last year's events at the 'Summer House' were relatively calm compared to this year. I'm still in shock and need to process everything first."
They also revealed a visible injury on Rafi's shin. The exact cause was not disclosed. "Last year, people thought it was crazy, but this season will be even wilder," Rafi said at a Berlin event on Thursday to RTL. The previous season saw two couples leave the show after a physical fight in episode six.
There are several other participants who could be involved in the current conflicts, including designer Sarah Kern (55) and Tobias Pankow (39), actor Raúl Richter (37) and his partner Vanessa Schmitt (28), TV personality Alessia Herren (23) and her partner Can (28), model and influencer Tessa Bergmeier (34) and her friend Jakob (38), model Theresia Fischer (32) and her partner Stefan Kleiser (57), reality star Gloria Glumac (31) and her husband Michael (32), and influencer Umut Tekin (26) and her partner Emma Fernlund (23).
However, Sam and Rafi vowed not to let the "Trennungsfluch" (breakup curse) affect their relationship. "The curse hasn't touched us and won't," Sam assured in a cuddly video on his account. "There are others who might be more vulnerable to it," Rafi added.
Theresia Fischer and Stefan Kleiser, however, appear to have escaped the curse, enjoying a brief period of couple time before sharing on Instagram, "I had to take showers for hours just to get rid of this 'Summer House' crap somehow." She continued, "The 'return to normalcy' is still 'half deafening' for me."
Model Tessa Bergmeier, known for her reality TV scandals, shared that she cried in therapy on Thursday, "not about 'Summer House,' but because being a single parent and self-employed can be incredibly difficult when a child is sick." She then gushed about her supportive friend Jakob and shared a cozy picture of them together.
The new "Summer House" season will be available on RTL and RTL+ in the fall.
