Lena Meyer-Landrut - Concert in Regensburg officially cancelled
Now it's official: Lena Meyer-Landrut (33) will not be able to perform at the Piazza Festival in Regensburg on Monday evening (22. July). The singer announced this short notice in an Instagram Story statement.
"Unfortunately, Lena is not better"
"Unfortunately, Lena's condition has not improved after the sudden medical emergency yesterday and she is still under medical care. Therefore, we unfortunately have to cancel the show in Regensburg today. Keep an eye on the updates from the respective organizers. We are also hoping for your understanding. Team Lena", it says in combination with a post from Piazza Festival Regensburg, where Meyer-Landrut was supposed to perform in the evening.
Tickets can be returned
The organizer informed his followers and fans as well about the sudden cancellation: "Lena has to cancel today due to illness!!! Tickets can be returned there where they were bought!"
In the comments on the post, there are wishes for recovery, but also a few disappointed voices: "Too bad, I was just about to leave", it says there, but also: "Get well soon Lena, I hope it's nothing serious."
How will the concerts continue?
Besides the concert in Regensburg, shows in Stuttgart (26. July) and Echternach (27. July) are planned in the coming days. The status of these concerts is still uncertain.
