Cologne wins Bundesliga basement duel in Darmstadt
1. FC Köln won the basement duel in the Bundesliga at SV Darmstadt 98 and left the relegation zone for at least one night. The cathedral city team prevailed 1:0 (0:0) in a hard-fought match on Friday evening.
Ex-national player Davie Selke scored the decisive goal in the 60th minute. With their second win of the season in front of 17,810 spectators, Cologne overtook Darmstadt, who are level on points, thanks to their superior goal difference.
