H.P. Baxxter, lead singer of Scooter, and his partner Sara tied the knot in two separate ceremonies. Their civil wedding took place on June 7th at Sylt while their church wedding followed on June 8th in St. Severin Church, Keitum. The couple left the church to greet the onlookers at around 4 pm on Saturday.

Their wedding semblance resembled that of Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner and his wife Franca Lehfeldt, who also got married in St. Severin Church after exchanging their vows at the Sylt Museum in 2022.

Hangover-free festivities

Reportedly, the couple gathered with over 150 guests at the renowned "Sansibar" venue for their reception. Contrary to popular belief, the celebrations did not involve anyone nursing a hangover, as the couple intended to limit their alcohol intake.

Baxxter disclosed his thoughts on wild weddings to "Bild" before the church ceremony. He stated, "My wife and I spent the night before the wedding together, but I left the room at 8 am to bond with my best man, while Sara was getting all dolled up. At other weddings, the party ambience was always amazing, and everyone was intoxicated, but I couldn't find the same energy again."

H.P. Baxxter has been married thrice. Prior to the church ceremony, he announced their marriage on Instagram through a photograph of the pair. The caption read "Just got married" (dt. "frisch verheiratet") along with a heart emoji.
