Music - Charts: Taylor Swift ahead of Eminem

With Taylor Swift and Eminem, two American superstars occupy the top spots of the German album charts this week. Swift climbs to number one with "The Tortured Poets Department". The 34-year-old is currently making a stop in Germany with her "Eras Tour".

Eminem enters at number two this week with his new album "The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace)". According to GfK Entertainment, dArtagnan also enters the charts at number three with "Herzblut". Billie Eilish falls from fourth to fifth place with her album "Hit Me Hard And Soft".

In the single charts, "Wunder" by Ayliva & Apache 207 secures the first position. This pushes "Zeit, dass sich was dreht" by $OHO BANI, Herbert Grönemeyer & Ericson to second place. Artemas remains at number three with "I Like The Way You Kiss Me". Eminem's "Houdini" moves up from eighth to fourth position and Cyril takes fifth place with "Stumblin' In".

One notable aspect is that both Taylor Swift and Eminem have multiple entries on the German charts this week. Despite Eminem's strong showing with "The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace)" at number two, his song "Houdini" also managed to climb up the single charts, reaching fourth position. Interestingly, Eminem is not the only international artist making waves in Germany. British singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, who currently ranks first on the album charts with "The Tortured Poets Department," is also performing in the country as part of her "Eras Tour." Germany's love for music has even allowed local artist dArtagnan to secure a spot on the album charts with "Herzblut," entering at number three.
