Princess Kate - Charlotte is so proud of her Mom

For a heart-rending reaction from Princess Charlotte (8): Centre Court at Wimbledon welcomed Princess Kate (42) upon her arrival for the Men's Final on Sunday, July 14, with loud applause, cheers, and standing ovations. For the second time since the announcement of her cancer diagnosis, the wife of heir-apparent Prince William (42) appeared in public and elicited great excitement at Wimbledon. And with her daughter by her side, she had her biggest fan in the Royal Box right beside her: Princess Charlotte beamed with pride towards her mother, who waved and smiled back, evidently touched by the crowd.

Princess Kate is currently undergoing cancer treatment and only makes rare and select appearances. She made an exception for the Trooping the Colour birthday parade for King Charles III. (75), and now appeared as Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for the Final between veteran Novak Djokovic (37) and youngster Carlos Alcaraz (21). Her duty after the match: Present the trophy to the winner on the court.

Even on her official account at the short messaging service X, Kensington Palace posted pictures of Kate's return to Wimbledon and accompanied the images with a short statement from the Princess: "I'm thrilled to be back at Wimbledon! There's nothing like these Championships."

Also, her sister Pippa Matthews (40) was by Princess Kate's side. Kate brought her sister and thus surrounded herself with much female power from the family. She appeared in a lilac Etik dress in Midi length with ruffles in front and a comfortable skirt part. Charlotte wore a dark blue dress with white polka dots. The polka dot pattern continued in the bow in her hair. Pippa appeared in a summery white-pink flower dress.

However, Prince William could not be by his wife's side at the Wimbledon Final. He traveled to Berlin on Sunday to support his Three Lions at the UEFA European Football Championship final between Spain and England at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.

  1. After the Men's Final, Princess Kate, accompanied by her daughter Princess Charlotte and sister Pippa Matthews, will present the trophy to the winner on Centre Court.
  2. On Sunday, Mother's Day in the UK, Princess Kate chose to attend the Wimbledon Final as Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club instead of celebrating at home.
  3. Ms. Pippa Matthews, sister of Princess Kate, was a prominent figure in the Royal Box, adding to the strong female presence alongside their mother and Princess Charlotte.
  4. Despite his wife's appearance at Wimbledon, Prince William was unable to attend, as he was in Berlin supporting England in the UEFA European Football Championship final against Spain.
  5. Princess Charlotte showed her pride and admiration for her mother, Princess Kate, during the Men's Final at Wimbledon, joining the crowd in applause and cheers for her cancer-fighting inspiration.
