"Challenging throughout your life:" Coach praises Terzic

Edin Terzic guided Borussia Dortmund to the Champions League finals, bringing immense joy. However, it ended in a massive letdown - a disappointment that would haunt him forever, as a renowned colleague stated. Nevertheless, Terzic has reason to be proud of his accomplishments.

During the match at Wembley Stadium, football legend Jose Mourinho, a TV expert, lent emotional support to his fellow coach Terzic after the crushing defeat at the hands of Real Madrid. "He said it's extremely tough. I told him it won't ease up. It'll be challenging for the remainder of your professional life, but you can be extremely proud of your efforts. You handled everything superbly," affirmed the Portuguese.

Mourinho commended Terzic for his tactical prowess. "A coach can't score, can't make decisions, can't shoot the ball - all he can do is establish strategies, instill confidence and create a winning mentality. And he succeeded in that" remarked Mourinho.

Despite the loss, Terzic's team performed commendably. "They executed everything flawlessly, except for scoring goals," Mourinho emphasized. The legendary coach, set to manage Fenerbahce Istanbul next season, was victorious in two Champions League projects with FC Porto and Inter Milan and has had six European final encounters, winning five of them.

Failing to secure a second crown for Borussia Dortmund against their arch-rival Real Madrid stung. "It'll be challenging to transform this disappointment into a driving force for future endeavors," Terzic told ZDF. But he remained defiant, "our mission stands clear" for the Dortmund players. In light of the shattered dream of a trophy and a celebratory send-off for Marco Reus, he strongly argued, "we must retain this belief." "If setbacks surface next season, this conviction mustn't wane. Only with that belief will we achieve victory some day."
