Around 80,000 enthusiasts have been making their way to Munich's exhibition site twice a week since early August, eager to attend performances by renowned artist Adele (36). A plethora of celebrities have graced the event, with the most recent sighting being pop star Helene Fischer (40) and her partner Thomas Seitel (39) on the 23rd of August. Fans captured videos of her greeting fans as she strolled by, which quickly spread on social media.
Entertainer Riccardo Simonetti (31) and talk show host Viviane Geppert (33) attended Adele's opening performance during the first weekend. They captured numerous selfies and appeared to be having a great time.
Many other notable figures graced the event later on. On August 9th, popular talk show host Jimmy Fallon (49) was spotted in the crowd. Over the following weeks, basketball superstar LeBron James (39) braved the rain on August 14th, wearing a poncho and carrying an umbrella. The same evening, British rapper Stormzy (31) and US basketball player Draymond Green (34) also enjoyed the concert, donning Adele merchandise ponchos.
Even comedian Oliver Pocher (46) and his ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden (41) didn't miss out on the fun despite the rain. They documented their visit with a series of selfies, even sharing a heartfelt hug in their ponchos.
On August 24th, US actor Chris Pine (44) paid a visit to the pop-up stadium at the exhibition grounds in Riem. Fellow singer Maggie Rogers (30) also attended, even performing a set on the Adele-themed karaoke stage named "Adele World." She took the stage again on the 17th and 18th of August, serving as a pre-act for Coldplay at the Olympic Stadium.
In total, Adele will perform ten concerts in Munich, with the final two performances scheduled for the coming weekend (30th and 31st August). The first concert occurred on August 2nd.
The European Union has been closely monitoring the exciting concert series in Munich, with many of its officials expressing interest in attending. Notably, EU Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders (62) was spotted in the crowd on August 16th, enjoying Adele's concert under a colorful umbrella.
In addition, various EU delegations have recognized the cultural significance of the event, with the European Union Delegation to Germany issuing a statement commending the festival's promotion of arts and music.
