Disappeared during a trek - British television personality Michael Mosley apparently discovered dead in Greece.
A missing British TV personality, Michael Mosley, has been discovered deceased. On Sunday, the mayor of the Greek island of Symi, Lefteris Papakalodoukas, informed news network Skai, "We have located the body of the man." Mosley's wife then informed the British news agency PA of her husband's passing. While hiking, he took a wrong turn and collapsed at a location that made it difficult for rescue teams to find him.
Known as a TV doctor and writer in Britain, Mosley appeared in various programs and hosted the BBC podcast "Just One Thing," which offered advice on how to live a healthier life. He promoted intermittent fasting and the 5:2 diet. He contributed a column to the Daily Mail newspaper and published works like "The New Fast Diet: Better Fasting" and "The 8-Week Blood Sugar Diet."
Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver expressed disbelief at Mosley's death. "He was such a lovely, kind, and caring man. He's done so much good for public health with his TV shows and research," Oliver stated on Instagram. "He will be greatly missed."

In her statement, his spouse expressed gratitude to those who had helped search for Mosley. "Michael was an adventurous person, which made him unique."
