Brad Pitt's Daughters Set an Example in Opposing Him

Shiloh Pitt will now be known as Shiloh Jolie. The 18-year-old daughter of Brad Pitt requested to officially change her last name as a birthday gift to herself.

This is yet another setback for Brad Pitt in his ongoing divorce battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. Shiloh's sisters Vivienne and Zahara have already taken the same step to sever their ties with their father.

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt recently performed in a theater production using only her mother's surname. Shiloh, who's now taken it a step further, wants her father's last name removed from her official records. "TMZ" reports that she has already filed the necessary paperwork. It's expected that the authorities will merely carry out the necessary formalities.

18-year-old Shiloh goes by the username "Shi Jolie" on her private Instagram account. An aspiring dancer, she seeks to forge her own path without relying on the fame of her parents. However, she performs under her mother's name.

The divorce battle is still ongoing

Shiloh is rumored to have sympathized with her father in the past, as per "Life and Style". The magazine reported that while she dislikes her mother, she feels sorry for her father - "She feels sorry for him because some of her siblings have distanced themselves from him, but she hates her mother and only does what pleases her." Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt back in 2016, marking the end of their four-year marriage and a 12-year relationship.

Since then, a bitter legal battle has been waging between the former couple. Additionally, Angelina has accused Brad of being violent towards her and their children.

Maddox (22), Pax (20), and Zahara (19), the three children that Angelina adopted before her marriage to Pitt, appear to be siding with their mother. Zahara, for instance, dropped her adoptive father's last name at her university, becoming Zahara Marley Jolie instead. Pax also seems to have divorced Brad, and Vivienne has been performing under a single name - her mother's.
